The Minecraft Marketplace is Full Of Distraction Microtransactions

Minecraft allows players to express themselves in any way they like which makes it one of the most enjoyable sandbox games available. You can play how you want, the way you want, and, thanks to the abundance of Minecraft mods, change every little thing to fit your preferences. A lot of that is available for free once you've purchased the game. The Minecraft marketplace is where money can be exchanged.

The Minecraft marketplace has been around for a while, but because it's only available for the Bedrock edition and console versions of the game and not something many Java players are familiar with. The two versions are now in one place however that's not the end of the story. With more people exposed to the Minecraft marketplace, it's not surprising that there are some issues to be faced.

Boredbud04, a Redditor uploaded a video clip that showcases some of the Back Items. These cosmetics can be used to enhance characters and can take up space that is normally unused. Contrary to other skins, they're also a little more extravagant because they alter the shape of your character. While some are just wings, it's not difficult to notice how big they are when they start blocking the screen of the market.

The most serious offender in every way is Inner Ghosts, the pink one that Boredbud04 highlights in the second. If it were located in the middle, this little bit of back bling would fill the entire screen. This seems like a huge problem if you're playing multiplayer games since you can easily harass people just by being in the front of them. This is a price that can be costly, but it can be uncomfortable.
